The Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival is a popular annual event for Cheltenham, both with visitors and locals. Plans are still being finalised for the 12th festival in June 2020. Past festivals have been a gastronomic delight with over 200 exhibitors from both the local area and surrounding regions.
The festival has always provided an astonishing variety of tasty goodies from oatcakes to aphrodisiac quince, the widest range of baked goods, meats, fish, cheeses, jams, chutneys and much more. This is the regional food event not to be missed.
Visitors can expect a fresh selection of food from Thai to Indian and Moroccan through to the classic British fish and chips along with the traditional taste of real ale from many breweries. The cooking demonstrations are always popular with local chefs and guest celebrity chefs, as are the International Wine Tasting classes and the Food & Drink Talks covering many subjects in a relaxed, fun interactive environment with some of the most well-known and respected experts in the UK. Subjects covered include real ale, wine and nutrition.
